Friends I would love to share my story with you. I wrote this one in about 1998. This story began years ago. It was a Saturday just a normal day. Well that's what I thought but who knows when our Creator has some thing planned from above, it is any thing but normal. Amen! It was a beautiful sunny day, I was rushing to our local shops and as I turned the corner there was a big sign that said Evangelist Steve Smith. He was coming to preach at the hall near our home. He was coming from the eastern states. As I read this advert my heart and my spirit were racing within me.
The Holy Ghost spoke "you must go tonight." I raced home all excited. My husband Joe said he didn't want to go but said I could go with a friend. So I called up my friend Shirley and that night off we went to the meeting. The hall was very small and people were packed in like sardines. Steve Smith was a big man with shoulder length hair. He had a powerful voice and was singing and playing his key board. Wow! Wow! The anointing flooded me I could hardly stand. I thought I was on my way to heaven. Glory.
As Steve started to preach, the fire and power was such as to have one either laid flat on the floor or on their knees. Later the alter call drew every one to the front of the hall. I went forward but another pastor prayed for me. I said to the Lord, "I don't want him, I want the one You wanted me to see. I went home very very disappointed for I didn't understand why I had to see him but not meet him. The years went by and I forgot the man with the fire and power. But my God had a plan he started to lay on my heart about this man called Steve Smith who I had forgotten so I started to pray for him. I asked my friend Rhonda if she knew this man. She did! Praise our living God. The Lord had me become Steve's personal intercessor and at that time he did not know me or I him.
Steve travels the world as a international evangelist. The Holy Ghost brought us together and Steve calls me from any where in the world. You see, he is like my second son and he stays with us and our home is his home too. Steve gets loved and spoiled and he loves that can you say Amen to a plan from Heaven that no man or devil can break. Many have tried to but never succeeded because Gods plans are yea and amen. When some thing is birthed in your spirit before life began, the one and only Creator of the universe, the Master of Heaven guarantees that what He has written for you cannot be removed. It is written by the hand of God. It is there for ever. It is eternal .
