Dawny's My Girl

A little shy girl stands alone scared and lonely as she watches all the children play happily around. She wants to join in but who wants to play with her? Her little heart starts to pound - do they want her? Will they call her name? No! Okay she will play her own game. Hiding her hurt she turns to play her own game.

Just then she catches sight of a familiar figure. He's checking each child as he makes his way up to her tousling her hair with love and affection. He says with a grin "Dawny's my girl." She felt so loved and wanted by her special uncle. He always made her feel very pretty and unique. She smiled to herself. All the kids could have their play their toys and each other. She felt like sunshine came into her. Her little heart beat faster now her uncle had made her day when he said with a grin "Dawn's my girl."

Now this little girl has a mum and dad who love her too. But with a sister and two brothers who also share the love and care, she wanted more. She needed more. So the Lord had placed her special uncle there for her who felt and loved just her. So if you out there feel like Dawny did, she will pray and ask our Father God to send some one just for you so you can hear the words that say you are my child. No one else will do. You are unique.
